After organizing and saving the Forsyth senior center, which provides programs and services to Eastern Taney County senior residents, has received enough funds to start building a community garden.

Last week the Forsyth Senior Friendship Site Center received a $29,000 ARPA grant from the Taney County Commission to add to their Community Garden fund and begin construction of a community garden.
